Applications are now being accepted for the 2011-2012 Teaching American History in North Carolina program. This local program which focuses on American history content and effective teaching strategies offers participants up to 12 CEUs, a $1,000 stipend, use of a Dell netbook, and much more. Over 40 local teachers have benefited from the program so far.
