T.J. Stiles to Speak at UNCW on September 17th

Teaching American History in North Carolina is pleased to announce that author T.J. Stiles will be presenting a public lecture "Guns, Gold and Civil War" at 7pm on September 17th in Kenan Auditorium at UNCW. The lecture is free and open to the public. A book signing will follow the lecture. Stiles is the author of The First Tycoon: The Epic Life of Cornelius Vanderbilt, and was awarded the Pulitzer Prize and the National Book Award for his work.
